Bu Yönetmeliğin amacı, tüketicinin sağlığı ve emniyeti açısından, hatalı olduğundan şüphe edilen, hatalı bulunan ya da kullanılmasında sakınca görülen ürünlerin araştırılması, ayrıca gerekli olduğu durumlarda piyasadan kısa sürede ve etkin bir şekilde geri çekilmesinde ve toplatılmasında uyulacak kural, yetki ve sorumluluklar ile kontrol esaslarını belirlemektir.
This Ordinance intends to set forth and govern the various norms to be observed, powers and responsibilities for the investigation and, where necessary, recalling and withdrawal from the marketplace as soon and efficiently as possible such products that may potentially pose threat to health and safety of the consumer public, due to their quality of being faulty by nature, in construct, or embodiment, as well as the supervision and management of related efforts.
